The nachos were delightful, the pulled pork was fantastic, and the burgers were very tasty. A piece of advice: one milkshake is enough for two people. Overall, superior to Five Guys, GBK, and others.
I made a reservation for a midweek dinner with my husband and daughter while on vacation. When we arrived, the restaurant was empty. We were immediately told that they were out of pasta and hotdogs. Despite this, we ordered appetizers and mains, which took about 45 minutes to arrive. I had cheese bites, while my husband and daughter had chicken strips, all deep-fried and served with tasty dips. We also ordered a bottle of Prosecco for £18, but it seemed suspicious as the cork was pre-cut and the bottle looked old. The burgers and rosemary fries eventually arrived and were enjoyable. I had to move to a different seat due to a cold draft from a door to the garden being left open. I noticed many takeout orders being fulfilled, which made me think that takeout was the main focus of the establishment rather than dining in. I witnessed a man being turned away for a table even though there were seats available. No desserts or coffee were offered, and the bill, which included three soft drinks, a chocolate milkshake, and the wine, came to just under £70. The overall appearance of the place was shabby, the service was poor, the food options were limited, and the tables and menus were sticky. The women's restroom was out of order, and the disabled restroom was dirty. I would not recommend this restaurant.
The restaurant was freezing cold inside, forcing me to eat my dinner while still wearing my coat. The decor featured tired-looking embroidery floors. I was puzzled as to why all of the chips were broken and seasoned with rosemary.
I made a reservation for a dinner during the middle of the week with my husband and daughter while on vacation. The restaurant was empty when we arrived. We were informed that they were only serving pasta and hot dogs, but we decided to order starters anyway. It took about 45 minutes for the starters to arrive. I had a cheese platter while my husband and daughter had chicken strips with dips, which were tasty. We ordered a bottle of prosecco for £18, but it seemed suspicious as the bottle was already opened with a pre-cut cork. The burgers and rosemary fries that we ordered were delicious. However, during our meal, I noticed the bar area seemed to be the main focus of the business, not the restaurant itself. The service was poor, the food selection was limited, and the overall cleanliness of the place was lacking. The bill, which included three drinks and a chocolate milkshake, came out to be about £70. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant.
Was a bit doubtful when my daughter picked up the restaurant and we took an older relative, but what a pleasant surprise. We had all burgers and they were beautiful. Recommend the Gherkins in Batter for Starter. Delish. Service and ambience all super. Be back soon.
