Best Laksa soup I’ve ever had, and really friendly staff too. Would recommend
Had the best soup there today Vege Laksa lovely friendly service. The $5 entry is a little weird but it does get you to the lighthouse for a look around.
Went to go on a lighthouse tour. Stopped at cafe to order lunch. Ordered a $15 potato and when deciding what else to order girl behind counter sighed loudly when there was no one else waiting. The diced potato was bought out to me and had no sour cream though it was on the menu. When asked I was told it doesn’t come with it and when I replied that it was on the menu she told me they didn’t have any. So instead of telling me prior to ordering she denied it and then was completely insincere with an apology. I suggested taking it off menu if it wasn’t available and she said I’m not the boss so instead she’s going to continue to charge customers with her poor attitude for food that’s not even available. My child has better manners than her. Would not have her anywhere near customers. As for the potato thing ordered. I ask for no salad, and the potatoes come loaded with tomatoes and I’m allergic to tomatoes so ruined my lunch.
Attempted to have afternoon tea here today, but left without entering after being told that we would have to pay admission prices just to get into the cafe. Absolutely ridiculous that the cafe cannot be accessed by people not viewing the lighthouse.
