Gropers fish n chips - Broadwater

If you are in Busselton you must tuck in to the snapper here. Simply the best, fresh fish and crunchy batter. Helpful staff and a busy turnover. Convenient to all the resorts in this area. Yum.

We always want to have fish when near the ocean so looked for a place to buy from. When entering saw people queuing so knew we were on a good thing. Heaps of customers and they cooked my grilled fish beautifully thanks!

Maybe we went on a bad day or something. Decided we were going to shop local as we couldn't be bothered going into the town centre, so put our orer in - my opinion? Can anyone recommend a good fish and chip takeaway place in Busselton? :(

This was a GREAT and appreciated find just a 600m stroll from our accommodation (Bayview Geographe). The fish and chips were very yummy, the batter perfect. The service was prompt and friendly, and they were doing a very good trade. My 5yo son who eats fish and chips EVERYWHERE we go so fancies himself a bit of an expert, stated during his dinner that "they cook these fish and chips really, really well!" He's never said this before so they have to be good! :) The servings were generous. We got our 5yo and our 15mo one kids meal each (fish bits and chips), for $7ea (VERY well priced) and they probably could have shared a serve. The 'fish bits', which we had presumed would just be shark, actually appeared to be bits of snapper. We had the snapper and it was also delicious. For the pickled onion lover (not me), their pickled onions also looked really good.
