The best service and friendly helpful staff!! Free parking. Right across the street to St Mary’s where my husband was for 9 days. So convenient to come and go walking. Fresh baked cookies at night. Coffee always fresh.

As others have mentioned, this hotel has seen better days and shouldn't be confused with the newer Aspen Suites next door. The Aspen Select is an ok option if you need a short-term hotel just across the street from Mayo at a low price, but there are nicer hotels nearby that don't cost much more. Three stars because our room was reasonably clean and the staff was helpful, and we appreciated the free breakfast and parking.

Our room was spacious and comfortable. The chair had torn upholstery. That was the only thing that needed some attention. The low sides on the tub make it easy to take a shower. Spacious bathroom. Right across from St. Mary's Hospital. I had to be there early am for my surgical procedure, and we were able to just walk to the entry. Wherever we go back, we'll stay at Aspen. There's also fresh made cookies every evening at 6 pm. Tasty! We were given the patient rate, which was better than where we stayed the first night, and the room was much better. Recommend them. Plus, there is no charge for parking, unlike other motels we had stayed in previously.Walkability: Right across from St Mary's Hospital. Very convenient.Noteworthy details: Large room and bath but lower priced than other places.

Stayed for a night and I received the best accommodation from the whole staff. Receptionist were very kind and approachable. Special mention to Howard who found the Ipad that my sister left behind. He gave it to the receptionist and they mailed it to us in Sioux Falls without any fee. I highly recommend this hotel not just because of its proximity to St Mary Hospital but because of the professionalism of the staff and the cleanliness of the place.
