While everyone else props their crust, the bread, Piccadilly Circus Pizza puts the focus where it should be, cheese, cheese, and more cheese. Delicious!
Stopped in hoping for a bite to eat but besides burgers and pizza, the options were next to nil. I asked about the chef salad; the young woman at the counter sighed and said “I have everything but the eggs.” Had she continued and said “I’ll add extra ham,” I might have ordered. I just shook my head and left.
This was the only open place we could find to eat. There were two sweet girls working and they advised us and made our food to order. The food was good. It's quite interesting; it is really kind of a convenience store building but functions as a sit-down restaurant. There was an unmanned bar inside. Attached was a little ice cream counter and souvenir shop. It's just such a different culture to this city girl, and I loved it.
We were driving through this part of Colorado and needed to have lunch. There are very few towns in this area and fewer restaurants. Piccadilly Circus Pizza was open so we stopped. We ordered cheeseburgers and were very pleasantly surprised at how good they were. I’m guessing they’re 1/2 lb, so they’re very good size. The fries were also very good. The cheeseburger costs $8.99. But given the size and overall quantity of good, this price is reasonable. The next time I’m in San Luis I’ll definitely stop at Piccadilly Circus Pizza.
