The new chef, Abe appears to know his stuff. Also enjoyed The Conga drinks made by Aaron. The Dinner Menu appears limited, but you can order off the Lunch Menu at Dinner, so there are plenty of options. Not sure they are actually open for lunch... call first. The restaurant is at the top of the many steps at Desert Moon Hotel, and if you visit at night bring a flashlight because the stairs aren't well lit.
We came here for the view and to have a couple cocktails. Unfortunately the view is partly blocked by a building under construction. Still, the vistas are amazing. We had two “**** Marys” which we probably the most disappointing we’ve ever had. For $9.00 you can have watered down vodka and Clamato juice plus a surly attitude from the bartender. We got duped.
Decent food, expensive margaritas, nice staff but two tacos each, one margarita each and two shots of tequila was 60. Too .
We had coffee and breaky for the two nites that we stayed at the hotel in this Hotel/Restaurant area, food was amazing ... great manager and bartender Edgar. Pool was a nice touch for this restarant/hotel.
Nothing special as far as the food and drinks go. They prices were really high for what you got. The pool and the views were awesome, and all the painted rocks were cool. But for the price I would not go back... maybe lower your pricing a bit and you will have more business.
