Ihop - Broken Arrow

I didn’t have high expectations coming here and they met expectations. Our waiter was only there to bring us water and take our order, we never saw him again until it was time for our checks. He never once filled our waters. They brought out the food and everyone had silverware except for me, I had to ask another waiter for silverware since our waiter was MIA. I ordered the “Big Steak” omelette which should actually be called the “Nasty Hamburger” omelette because they used broken up hamburger patties and tried to pass them off as steak. I’m always a good tipper when I eat out if the waiter or waitress even just does the bare minimum, this waiter did not do that. 0/10 will not be back.

Monday morning 10/24/2022 my kid asked to take her to Ihop for breakfast. I drive 20 mins to IHOP in Broken Arrow (Hillside), get there..and had to wait 8 minutes standing buy the hostess stand before my kid and I were acknowledged!! Finally, we were seated. Took another 10 minutes before I decided to ask a server “Excuse me ma’am who is my server?” Server responded “I am.” I asked her our drinks. The wait time was ridiculous in! The that my kids and I stood by the hostess stand so long and we weren’t even greeted. Food was good as usual but it’s the customer service that will make a restaurant or any other business scare their clientele away! To top it off I had to hear the kitchen staff argue in Spanish loudly!! I overheard a server tell the cook “customer said he no longer wants the eggs he says you can’t cook eggs and he does not want to pay for his meal.” My kid is fully bilingual she made a comment “Mom if ever need to work Ihop will not be a place I’d want to work at.” The kitchen staff was really going at it in Spanish with profanity! Terrible experience today!

Worst experience and food! So, I ordered the 55+ grilled chicken with two sides. Received about 2 oz of chicken and the side salad was three full leaves of lettuce which was dark brown on the edge where the leaves were broken from the stem with some aged chopped tomatoes. My only option at this point was to create lettuce wraps by chopping the chicken. Adding tomatoes and drizzling the dressing resulting in a couple of lettuce wraps. I actually got a chuckle from the side salad consisting of three full leaves and managed to turn them into lettuce wraps. The part that was more frustrating is when the waitress asks if everything is alright and my reply was “not really” and her exact reply was “ good! let me know if you need anything” then she immediately walks away

The IHOP in Broken Arrow off hillside drive is absolutely the best IHOP EVER! EVERYTHING WAS AND IS PERFECT. The eggs are made to perfection. The bacon was perfect as asked crispy. The pancakes were the best part. So fluffy, big, and the taste was to die for. Why can't every single IHOP be like this one? If you go to a different location, your robbing yourself.

The waitress was friendly, but the food was the worst I've ever had at an IHOP. The hash browns were hard and cold in the middle. My friend's sausage was burnt. My pancakes were dry and blackened on the bottom. We won't be returning.
