The atmosphere is good, and the place is very nice, great service, but the food poisoned my son and my ! The shrimp? ??
Los Cabos has been my favorite restaurant ever since I was a wee pup, so visiting this establishment always brings me such joy to be immersed in the place of so much youthful nostalgia. Although my palette has matured from a kids menu to the regular menu, the food is still top tier. I can say with absolute certainty that this establishment serves THE best queso of any Mexican joint you will ever visit. The only downside to this establishment is the fact that I am now pregnant with a food baby.
Good restaurant. Very large seating area with a cantina style Mexican atmosphere. Lots of tables and a large bar area and nice views of the nearby lake. Typical chain restaurant menu of tacos, burritos, fajitas, chimichangas, enchiladas, etc. Decent menu of drinks and margaritas. No happy hour or Taco Tuesday specials that we could find (we do a Taco Tuesday group). Food was good. Well seasoned and served hot. Not great. Just good. We liked the chips and salsa. The queso was runny and not much flavor. We had a variety of entrees from taco salad to fajitas to shrimp and the beef brisket tacos. Kind of what you would expect from a large kitchen churning out prepped meals with refried beans rice. The food was good but lacked the “pop” of flavor normally associated with Mexican food.
Amazing staff to start off and sadly the patio was closed for the day but would totally recommend the Mahi Mahi though!
