Really nice meal in a lovely village restaurant/pub.Great service and great food at a decent price.
The restaurant is in a fantastic location with delicious food, excellent service, and affordable prices. Make sure to call ahead for a reservation as they tend to get busy.
This is my neighborhood pub, and the owners are extremely welcoming and friendly. The rest of the staff are also very kind. I have heard that the food is great, although I have not yet tried it myself. I would give it a 5-star rating, but unfortunately, the pub does not have disabled access. There are steps leading to the toilet, making it inaccessible for those in wheelchairs.
I recently visited a pub with a good friend of mine. We booked a table for a meal on the Wednesday before the bank holiday Thursday (Queen's Jubilee). The restaurant was surprisingly quiet. I ordered the scallops for a starter, which were absolutely delicious but could have been hotter temperature wise. My friend ordered the Bromham sausage and mash with peas and onion gravy, which she really enjoyed. I had the 8oz sirloin steak with mushrooms, chips, and salad. Everything was cooked to perfection. Unfortunately, we didn't have room for dessert, which is surprising for me. I highly recommend visiting this place. It is definitely worth it. The staff are great.
