The service was amazing, I even accidentally ordered the wrong thing thinking it was something else and they just swapped it out! The waiter was kind, attentive and funny. The quality of the food was so good! They tell you when you arrive but basically for a small fee anything can be converted into the Table d 'hôte . The atmosphere is wonderful a bit loud but it 's normal. We will definitely go back! And try the other branches as well.
I had low expectations when I visited this restaurant, but I left pleasantly surprised and satisfied. Our group opted for the la table d’hote, and I must say I wasn't disappointed. To start, I ordered the du chaudron and went for the bisque d’homard, even though I'm not a big seafood fan. To my surprise, it was amazing. The choice of entrées was delightful; I had the Fondants de fromage de l'abbaye St-Benoit. While the plate presentation wasn't impressive, the flavors were surprisingly good, especially the salad with its delicious sweet sauce. For my main course, I chose the Bavette de bœuf grillée with sauce au bleu. I loved the sauce, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the beef. This place definitely knows how to cook meat. I rounded off my meal with the pouding chômeur, which brought back childhood memories and was equally delightful. The only downside was the service. Our glasses remained empty, and no one checked on our basic needs. Nevertheless, I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant based on the delicious food and byob.
Food was very good my wife truly enjoyed the salmon and I enjoyed the blood puding. Great desserts alsoA great bring your own wine
Friendly staff...service with a smileExcellent foodNice surroundings !
Terrible food and bad service. First of all I ordered the duo scallions with shrimp in a rose sauce with garlic and lemon.t he shrimps tasted horrible, the scallops were tiny and way over cooked. The sauce was hardly existing and looked like it was leftover from scraping the pan. The plate came with grilled vegetables which weren’t even part of the menu but the portion of pasta was so small it looked like the rn out and through vegetables on the plate to fill it up. Needless to say the plate wasn’t working and the grilled vegetables did not fit with scallops and shrimp with pasta. My girlfriend ordered the salmon tartar. Wow, just horrible. Looked like grocery bought and served with French fries that looked like were cooked 3 or 4 times over and nacho chips that must have been at least a month past due. The strawberry and feta salad. Well looked like poop. Stay away . Worst restaurant. It’s a bring your own wine so bring lots of wine because you need to be drunk to think about eating
