We stopped here while traveling on the way back home. Liked the idea of a small town diner and that's what we got. It reminded me of the old Ranch House restaurants back in the day. There was a young girl who seated us and got our drinks. Our server was Kim. She was very pleasant and funny. It took me a while to figure out what I wanted to eat and she gave me as much time as I wanted. When it was time to order, she came over and sat down beside me, which I think is awesome. I ordered the open face turkey sandwich, hubby had the burger and my son had the pulled pork sandwich. Now, they were all good, but the turkey was cubed, the pulled pork was actually sliced, but again, they were good. Another table got the peach cobbler with cinnamon brown sugar ice cream. It looked really good. Kim brought me a sample of the ice cream and it was great, I just didn't have room for the cobbler. I'd say this is a good place if you're not into fancy, and just wanting a decent meal at a decent price.
Typical diner fare, average. We dined at 12 noon and disappointed about having missed breakfast (stops at 1100). Then someone in my group requested a fried egg on their burger, they couldn't do it...some lame excuse about having put all the breakfast foods away, grill would get messed up. Are you kidding me? So the burgers and fries were meh, my partner got ribs, the meat was way too dry, but the flavor was ok, like they had actually been smoked, of course not that day tho. He got a side of Mac n cheese, described it as, straight outta the can. Thank you Sisco. The servers were really sweet so it's got that going for it. Overall, edible under hunger circumstances but pass if you got something at home...
A group of went camping in Williston for the week and want to go out for breakfast. We went to several places not satisfied with any of them. When we found this place and tasted the food we were ecstatic. They gave good portions. The only downside is they don't serve breakfast all day. We ate lunch and everyone in our group of 12 loved their food. We went back every morning thereafter for breakfast.
