Best Italian Pizza - BRONX

This pizza place has been around for a long time on Fordham Rd., and today I understand why there were only four customers there. It's hard to expect people to pay more for your pizza when they can get a dollar slice that tastes just as good. I noticed a line of eight or more people waiting for the $1 pizza when I walked by on my way to Best Italian Pizza, and there were just as many waiting when I passed by again.

I visited this restaurant two years ago while traveling from Ohio, and I have to say, it's one of the best places in the Bronx!

I had the worst pizza ever. The crust was doughy and there wasn’t enough sauce, so it lacked flavor. Paying $5 for a slice of pepperoni feels excessive, especially when it doesn’t even taste good.

I been going to this location since I was little...like when Alexander's and Woolworth was popping! ?
