Dominick's - BRONX

This place is amazing! I visit every year the week before Christmas with a large group of friends, and I highly recommend it. Make sure to come with a big appetite, as you'll definitely need it!

I had a wonderful and relaxed experience at this restaurant. The pasta was delicious and reasonably priced—what more could you ask for? Just a heads-up: the seating is communal and they only accept cash.

Really love this place. The food is so good. It has a great vibe, the service is great and I felt treated like family.

Dominick's offers a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. Both the first and second floors are small and cozy, enhancing the sense of comfort. The service was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and quick. However, the food quality was a bit inconsistent. The Chicken Scarpariello and the Osso Bucco special were among the best I’ve ever had, but I was disappointed with two Ziti dishes, which were actually made with store-bought Penne pasta. This was not the level of quality I expected from a restaurant of this reputation. The most disappointing dish was the Steak; it was one of the worst restaurant steaks I've encountered. I ordered it medium rare, but it arrived severely undercooked and lacked flavor. After asking for it to be cooked more, it came back well-done and tasted as if it had been microwaved. For $40, I anticipated a much better experience. Overall, I would rate Dominick's 3.5 out of 5 stars.
