My Deli Gourmet - BRONX

I have been frequenting this restaurant for 10 years and have always enjoyed it. However, my opinion changed when one of the workers there started lying to me. I would call every morning for breakfast at the same time, and the worker would always claim that he needed an hour to clean the grill. Yet, when I passed by, I would see people coming in and out, picking up their orders or placing new ones. This made me question the honesty of the employees hired by the owner.

Updated review from 2021: Based on the reviews, it appears that this restaurant is still much more than just your average Deli. You'll need a wide angle camera or a panoramic shot to capture all the numerous toppings on the salads here. It's a vegan's dream for sure.

This deli is the worst place to go to. I don't understand why no one is saying much, but years ago the food used to be amazing. Now, I don't know what happened ever since they hired new chefs and workers. I ordered mozzarella sticks and half of them were burnt and not cooked properly. This isn't the first time this has happened. I now have a severe stomach ache.

I saw a video on YouTube by this guy named Berto about this place and figured this would be a good place to go on an adventure with my trying vegan niece. I thought the whole store was vegan products but they sell halal foods as well. My niece orderedthe impossible chopped cheese and was impressed, I thought it should have been a hero rather than on a roll, for $16. The fries,oh my goodness, they were freaking delicious, they were fresh, hot and crispy which made me not harp on the price, my motherenjoyed her halal chicken gyro and overall this was a good experience

I went there for the first time tonight and they are not really a full-boggan deli. they have a great vegan choice, but serve all dead animals each deli sold in nyc. that said it's the best chopped cheese I've ever been vegan. huge hero, generous serve the side for $15 made me full. my only concern is that it looked like they were just using a grill and frit to not be sure that cross-contamination.
