Sammy's Shrimp Box - BRONX

This is a quick review for a short stop made at this location on the way home from City Island. My friend and I missed the bus back and decided to stop at this location for a quick drink (Kinky's Sammy's Lemonade) which turned into two (we missed three buses) because they were deliciously made and the atomsphere at the bar was very relaxing. I did not give stars for the food because we did not eat there but are planning to come back for lobster. Thank you Sammy's. Your professionalism is why your location has been around for a long time.

The best part of the summer is always going to Sammys, where the food is always good to staff is friendly, courteous, and professional, and the seating is nice and private interview is airy.

Went here because of the reviews. The staff was amazing! Had the Bang'Bang Shrimp ? it was out of this world! However, the rest of the food was nothing to brag about. Also they charged a $5 plate fee because we shared the entrée which I thought was kind of silly being that we ordered 2 starters as well.Bang-Bang Shrimp Oysters Rockefeller (Nothing but salty spinach with cheese)Broiled Sea Combo (Hardly any taste)Perhaps we didn't get the best dishes on the menu and therefore it didn't meet our expectations, but overall, it was a solid 3 star based on my experience with the food.By the way, the drinks were also amazing!Oh let's not forget the delicious breads and pickled veggies they give while we wait for our food. That was indeed impressive.Parking: Free valet parking across the street.Wheelchair accessibility: Outside dining easy for wheelchair patrons.

Food was great and the atmosphere was nice. Bonus...free valet parking.
