Jade Spoon Bronxville Asian Cuisine

My mom lives close by. I took her to lunch one day and she suggested this place. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and diversity of the menu. Pan Asian cuisine (mostly Chinese, Indian and Thai). The owner was there for my first visit and she was delightful. We had a long conversation about food (my favorite subject) and she proved to be very knowledgeable and an equally good cook. The staff is also friendly and attentive. It's mostly a take out, but has a few large tables if you prefer to dine in. Very clean with a clean bathroom. All the dishes I've tried so far have been excellent. I recommend the ribeye steak and Walnut Shrimp. Great little spot

Taste like good, clean Chinese food. Definitely not what I'm used to from local Chinese spots in the Bx. The fried rice is true beef fried rice (similar to what you'd get at a hibachi or Japanese restaurant). I was a little surprised by the Chicken egg roll I clearly didn't read the menu. It was good but a little dry. We got sesame chicken with fried rice that came with egg rolls orders of crab rangoons. Thats where I would take stars away, crab rangoons should have imitation or real crab, it had none of that. It was essentially just a cream cheese puff. Overall, the food tasted fresh clean, not overally oily the crab rangoons just need to be revamped.

Very solid place for takeout Chinese food in southern Westchester. The prices are reasonable, the service prompt. I especially enjoyed their Szechuan beef (crispy, flavorful), Hunan chicken, and cold sesame noodles. It's a small space, so I'd only go there for takeout. Can't wait to go back.

Food is consistently delicious! Delivered super hot and fast. This has become our go to for Chinese take out.

Main Street or Mott Street? If you don't feel like shlepping to Chinatown you can get very decent food at this little spot. It's mostly for takeout but I ate on premises at one of the few tables there. The staff are welcoming and accommodating. I ordered an egg roll and Jumbo shrimp and Walnuts and was pleasantly surprised that both were very good. I will be back for sure!!
