Satterfield's - Brook Highland

Maybe this was an off night, but I was extremely disappointed with the food and service. We have had better meals than what was served tonight, which lack seasoning and was lukewarm warm at best. The cream brûlée was not tasty at all, definitely some ingredients missing. The famous corn muffins were not good at all. Service was pleasant but slow. My husband and I enjoy fine dining options regularly, but this will be removed from our list. ?

Our dinner was fabulous! The Peach Cobbler Old Fashioned was so perfect! Crab cakes were so perfectly made and fresh veggies made for a delicious summer meal. Of course the beignets and banana pudding were a perfect finish. Our waiter, Kenneth, was one of the best servers I have ever had. Eat at this little gem and you won't de disappointed!

Our appetizers were fantastic and the wine was lovely, but our entrees did not necessarily meet our expectations. Our waitress was very friendly and prompt, but she was not completely trained and not ready to be on her own yet. The staff was friendly, but waitresses gossiping nearby while we eat in an overcrowded, hot restaurant is not exactly what we had hoped for when we made reservations. I will say that the desserts were out of this world and we did, generally speaking, have a good time. I would like to come back and give it a second try.

Great date night, food was excellent and good size for the price! Kenneth was our server and he was great too!

By far the best experience we have ever had! The service was incredible and the food portions were generous but not heavy. The flavors are perfect.
