Later we heard a server, asking if people were waiting because there was an open table— I guess her conversation was more important. (We only noticed a big party holiday while we waited so that the table was open all the time. We just sat down and we were grateful that the server (Jeff said something. Our servers were great and food was mostly good, except for the crab cake. The crab cake had a lot of crabs, but no real taste. You would expect better for the price.
Service was good too great, roles and appetizers were very good, drinks were pretty good, food was ok. Filet was good, Scallops were very sandy and not appetizing as soon as you enter the shine. Lachs was beautiful and the steak sandwich was good, but nothing spectacular. This was our first time to Mr.Bs and we don't see any reason to go back.
Scallops were unfortunately cold and had to be sent back. Manager was apologetic and delivered Dessert. The room was cold as they were just open at 5:00.
It was our first time at Mr. B. The manager was kind enough to calm us down when we sat at our table because it was near a window and we were cold. Had the bone in fillet and baked potato. They were both hot and delicious. We were happy with the service, but I added to our reservation that it was our anniversary, 44. are exact. No mention of every employee in the evening. We cost the evening very much and will return soon.
Disappointing third visit, with below average steak at this price point. I had the bone-in tenderloin and lobster, and my girlfriend had tenderloin and scallops. The tenderloin tasted like poorly aged choice beef. The lobster and scallops were good. It’s well worth the extra 30 minutes (round trip) drive to State Street in Milwaukee.
