King's Wok Chinese - Brookings

Since the decommissioning in July 2022, the food has significantly improved! However, the decor is outdated and in need of some upkeep. The buffet and drinks are just $15.00, which is a decent deal. Personally, I prefer ordering takeout meals.

The food wasn't very good; it tasted as if it had been reheated or overcooked. I won't be returning.

On the downside, nothing really stood out as particularly tasty. I've always believed that the quality of a Chinese restaurant can often be gauged by their hot and sour soup, and unfortunately, this place didn't measure up, as their soup was quite disappointing. I have to say that high school lunches were far superior in comparison. I feel bad saying this since the staff seemed genuinely nice, but this place just wasn't for us, even at such low prices.

The price is good, but the food is not. It tastes like grease, and is just not to be desired

The food is pretty good though on the bland side. It definitely look old and tired though and a bit on the under lit side. They are in definit need of a major remodeling.
