The staff, both on the phone and in person, are incredibly friendly. Their genuine hospitality makes you feel as though you're not in a bustling city at all.

This is a beloved local ice cream shop. I appreciate that they stay open until midnight. Their ice cream is quite good, though it could be enhanced by increasing the fat content and introducing some more creative flavors, even though they already offer a wide selection. Their hard yogurt is excellent and tastes just as delicious as their ice cream—I highly recommend the peanut butter chip flavor.

If you find yourself in Coolidge Corner on a sunny, lovely day and start craving an ice cream cone, make your way directly to JP Licks, located right across from the cherished Coolidge Corner Theatre. While you wait in line, you can enjoy an art exhibit or live music — we certainly did (check out the photos).

This is my family's top pick for ice cream! The maple walnut flavor is definitely the best option!

I wish they offered more low-carb options, but overall, it's an excellent spot for ice cream.
