La Voile - Brookline

One of the best French Restaurant in Mass. I love their their French Onion Soup, La Charcuterie, Le Saumon Fume, La Terrine, Le Canard, La Mousse au Chololat and everything else I have ate so far. I strongly recommend this place if you are a fan of FrenchCuisine.

Excellent French restaurant with a cosy seating arrangement inside and staff who are more than happy to help you make great choices. The duck confit was excellent. As was the snail and cod. The roasted beet salad was excellent. Desserts were a treatin themselves with the sorbet, the mousse and tarte tatin all being good but the l’ile flotante was a little floatingisland of sheer joy and simplicity! The wines suggested by our server paired exceptionally well with our meal. The duck breastwas OK and same with the chicken liver pate not bad but the others were all stand out good. One last word any restaurantthat serves olive bread like the ones these guys do cannot get anything but a 5 star rating!!!

We came here to celebrate our jubilee and we arrived early on a Wednesday night so we could get a table out. beautiful small place, delicious food and great service. the appetizers and entrees were delicious and the brot and the butter also. I love the butter.

I'm going early because noise can be high. I love this restaurant. eating is fabulous, the service excellent, the ambiente relaxing. it is now the first place I think to bring people from outside the Boston area.

My wife and I always enjoy la voile. the eating is excellent (I had the laughs and my wife the due confit), the service is also excellent and the prices are appropriate. they should know that the restaurant also has large plates of plexiglas (or perhaps real glass) installed between the tables that are close. this does not detract from the environment and makes the diner feel more comfortable while eating. we recommend la voile.
