The lady owner is extremely rude and may I say, racist and prejudice towards non-Americans. We were there with a local customer and she treated them wayyy better than us. Everything is horribly overpriced. Will not come again. Word of advice: stay away. The international aisle at Star Market down the road now looks like a way better option that this store.
They very nice people the owner help me to find everything that I need to make lamb
Really nice small shop with a nice collection of indian groceries and spices. Hard to imagine so many things fit into such a tiny place but very well organized.
The owners speak English perfectly well, but they prefer not to deal with foolishness. They are more than willing to help you locate items in the store. Some people seem to expect this shop to operate like a Target or Whole Foods, but that’s not the nature of this business. At the register, they sell tin trays of samosas, wrapped desserts, and there are numerous signs and cards for South Asian nannies, tailors, and travel agents. While it may not be as large or diverse as places in Western Massachusetts, if you live in the area and are in need of authentic spices, your favorite brand of rice, South Asian beauty products and soaps, cooking utensils, or items for religious rituals (like incense, statues, or offerings), this is definitely the place to go. The prices may be higher due to the store's proximity to the city, so if you’re looking for cheaper options, consider driving to Waltham or New Jersey.
