We waited until the bill and yes, there were 4 lobster tails on the bill. We told them about that, the manager took a look of our receipt and took it away and did not say anything. We had waited for 20-25 minutes to get the answer, felt like a homeless asking for food or money. Finally one of the receiptionists said the refund will be back on our account in 72 hours. Felt bad...After all, their food is good.
The food was great! We tried the boom boom sauce, and I asked for burning fire on the side. It had a kick, but wasn't I'm gonna die spicy (warning: I do like my spicy food so if you don't eat spice, it's probably spicy).I ordered:Cajun fries goodMozerella sticks goodand the Cajun platterService:Hostess was distracted (on her phone) for a good minute before greeting us and seating us. We asked for a highchair, and she never came back with one, so my friend went to get it himself.Server Kevin was great. We felt bad because it looked like he was running half the restaurant AND bartending. So, while it took a little longer to place our orders, we were fine because he was as attentive as he could be. He grabbed our drinks right away. Brought our food very shortly after ordering AND got everything right. He was kind to recommend the ice cream place next door. We were so full we didn't go, but maybe next time. And I noticed that server Tommy works there too He's absolutely great! Would always recommend him! ? Ask for him.The bathroom was clean (Hostess just got done cleaning). Very appreciative.Parking: Just becareful when you're crossing because people are whipping it out here.
Food was great! Love the service as well! Everything in general was great as a first timer!
They demand tips:I came here with my wife and kids to celebrate my daughters birthday and at they end they demand a tip. Everything was fine till the demand part. Well they messed that up because In the United States, a tip is not legally required and the amount of the tip is at the discretion of the customer. The Act “MFLSA” . employers that demand tipping policies violates the MFLSA Act, Taking a Tip Credit on demand is against the law. Don’t be fooled. If they demand a tip you’re entitled to take action and sue the company. I will return and hopefully they demand again so I can sue them.
The order was left at the wrong house. My wife had to run in the rain down 3 houses. The driver apologized as he drove off, but it makes me mad that we or tip in advance. The food is excellent and Captain Crab is great.
