She spoke with us for while and I've been there a couple of times in the past and I was surprised that for the last day it was takeaway only, but I got a couple of different items and the chicken curry soup was out of this worldit was incredible. I don't know what the deal is maybe the rent was too high or maybe the lease was up or maybe they just simply really did want to retire because I think that they were in a great location and did excellent business. We will miss them
First time ordering from 86 Noodles, and what I got was just okay. I started with the wonton soup, which came with a few large wontons, and then got the chicken chow fun, which was almost entirely noodles with a little bit of chicken. Flavors were fine, but kind of ordinary. Maybe some of the other stuff there is better, but from what I tried, I prefer other spots in the area for Chinese food.
Came by here after not trying this place in a year, nothing new still an average place. I got the sesame chicken which was tasty. The white rice was a small portion though. I got a taro bubble tea that tasted horrible and warm. My boyfriend got a mango bubble tea that just tasted like iced tea, both drinks were watered down and warm. Will not recommend! The place is dark but pretty, wasn't too busy when we came around 8:30ish pm. Food arrived not too long after we ordered.
Ever since eating here a month ago, this has become my go to spot for Chinese food. I came in a on a Thursday afternoon to have lunch with a friend and enjoyed my meal so much that I've ordered quite a few times since then. I've had quite a few of the menu items and the food has been consistently fresh and flavorful. Some of my favorites include: The Orange Chicken lunch combo special, very sweet but a VERY generous portion of chicken with your choice of rice (white or fried) and a soup or soda The Pork in Garlic Sauce lunch combo special as well (and can be swapped out for chicken). My only issue with this dish is that when I've ordered takeout, the meal is mostly vegetables in garlic sauce instead of pork. When we ordered this at the restaurant, the portion of meat was much more generous. The Steamed Rice Roll I have been getting this with beef but would also try the shrimp. Traditional dim sum fare. One of my favorites. The Juicy Pork Buns mini dumplings with pork The Sweet and Sour Chicken so much better than any other place I've ordered from. The chicken is fresh and the portion is huge. The Fried Wontons love these. Perfectly crisp and delicious even without sauce Items to skip: The Red Bean Bun definitely comes from a freezer. When we ordered this, we expected they'd be fresh but you can tell these were defrosted. The Baby Spare Ribs we ordered this in honey sauce which was tasty, but these are incredibly hard to eat since the tiny pieces all have bone in them. Definitely not comparable to a boneless spare rib. If you are placing an order for takeout or delivery, you'll have to call in the old fashioned way since they're not on Seamless or Yelp Delivery. Make sure to order in advance as well because delivery time takes about an hour since they're making this stuff fresh.
This was the absolute worst Chinese food I have ever had. The sesame chicken is actually just shredded bits of soggy raw-tasting cornstarch covered with a sesame sauce. There was no actual pieces of chicken present. I also ordered the fried wontons which tasted like rancid meat. Neither items were edible and I discarded them and got my money back from Uber eats but I wanted to warn anyone else that was considering ordering- DON 'T.
