Some of the best home cooked Caribbean food from either DR, PR or Cuba you'll ever have. Any time I'm in the area I stop by for a bite to eat, it never disappoints. Definitely hit them up when you're in the neighborhood!
It's a decent food with a reasonable price, many Caribbean or Latin restaurants are expensive compared to American restaurants, This place have a lot of delicious Dominican dishes and I recommend to eat different appetizers, an small dish and some dessert and I promise you, you will not spend to much money and will have a good experience.
I been coming here for years and let me tell you today. Everyone was completely off.. we had a waitress that was not replying and just acting like a robot.. we was very polite and got no response.. we ordered the Dominican breakfast... Everyone wascooked in a rush onions was raw , cheese wasn't fried all the way toast was barely toasted . . Keep in mind it's only 2 othertables that has a total of 3 customers so there is no excuses... everyone is on the phone even if there is nothing happeningit's important to engage the customers and make sure everything is good. They forgot to add chess to one of the orders and theyjust put a slice of cheese and call it a day . Honestly I'm taking a break from this place till they get the customers serviceback to where it was .. I paided left no tip .. but I did have 1 young lady that took my payment say thank u and have a good dayand at least.. I didn't complain to the staff due to they all didn't seem to care on the phones and didn't look like it wouldmatter ...even ordering from this place they get something wrong and have to repeat more then 5 times to get the address rightjust to still get the address wrong... Anyways this is my review and hope someone wakes up and fix the issues before they losemore customers
Am from out of town visiting my niece. First visit recommended by my niece. Parking was a problem but, it's Brooklyn. The food was excellent and the staff was helpful and attentive. It was a little pricey but...it's Brooklyn. I would/will eat thereagain. I like Carribean cuisine when done very well.
I wish that I could post the picture of what I ate. I had returned home from London, UK the night before, but all that I was fiending for was Tostones and Sancocho!!!!!! Spanish Food comfort doesn't get better than this!!!!!
