There are more patio seatings with cozy ambiance than indoor seatings. We had their Chicken Karaage, Agenasu Kinoko Ankake (Eggplant with mushroom) and Half Half Kamo Seiro Udon to share with a group of 2. We love everything, especially the eggplant and mushroom, which was braised so flavorful and juicy. The udon wasalso good and the noodle was chewy and perfect with the sauce. However, their service was slow and reluctant despite of their great food. We asked for water check so many times but we ended up requesting from the counter directlyourselves.
The outdoor seating are was cute and cool! we sat in a tent under the grape vine trellis. The trellis were full of grapes ????. The food was delicious especially the eggplant with mushroom, it was full of umami, if you are vegan you would love it. Downside is it took long time to serve the meal.
We swung by here right before the place opened to see a line. Not sure if that?s an every weekend experience but be warned. The menus are vague but essentially says it all. We ordered the agedashi tofu, chicken mushroom udon which had a surprise of spinach with yuzu, and tan tan pork udon which was creamy tasting with really good pork pieces. Both soups were well put together, with quality ingredients cooked with care. Took two stars off only because the quality of thenoodles was inconsistent. One bowl was good with the right amount of bite, but the other was much too soft. All in all, this place is basically a good spot with simple soups and good ingredients.
A flavor fest packed with robust dashi broth, juicy beef, and caramelized scallions that bring a delicate sweetness. The beef? Clearly marinated in sweet soya or mirin, it announces its presence from the first bite. And the broth oh, the broth! It's not just good, it's a symphony of taste that's pure, sophisticated, and oh so savory. Picture savoring this hot, aromatic udon, with succulent slices of beef, while bracing a crisp 36°F weather. Pure bliss! Despite your doors being closed, your flavors left such an impression that they still deserve a rave review.
Saw this on yelp a while ago and finally decided to give it a try and I rly liked it here, no regrets. Staffs were very friendly and attentive, ambiance were nice and calming, they put a tiny candle on the table; perfect for a date ; We got the kamoten seiro udon and it was soooo delicious wow. If I had the stomach for it, honestly I would've gotten another one. The tori no karaage came in 5 pieces, taste met my expectations idk bout the portion tho.. We also got the curry udon- yum. Overall, we enjoyed my experience here, would definitely come again
