La Superior - Brooklyn

What's my favorite street-style taqueria? La Superior, without a doubt. I've been in this neighborhood for some time, and this is my top choice when I'm craving delicious (and surprisingly affordable) tacos. My recommendations? The cebollitas, the carnitas taco, and the pescado zarandeado taco. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is filled with positive vibes. Remember, there are no reservations, so arrive early. I wouldn't recommend it for large groups. You can pay with cash or debit card, but keep in mind that credit card payments incur a small fee.

The happy hour deals are fantastic, and the food is exceptional. The tacos are expertly crafted and flavorful, and the prices are very reasonable!

I'd come here just for the salsa taquera that tastes like the kitchen blended hot fire with sweet cherries, but everything here is immaculate. Don't skip it, and get the lengua.

Incredible tacos, my mouth was on fire from the hot sauce but I prefer that. The staff was attentive and energetic. Mezcal margarita up to par. No wait and chill vibe. Would highly recommend.

Our experience was disappointing due to the lackluster service, which is surprising for a small restaurant with so few tables. My entree was left sitting in the window for at least seven minutes before it was finally delivered to my table, and I almost considered retrieving it myself. I have to give five stars to the kitchen, as they rang the order ready bell four times before the waitress finally collected my food. We might consider returning in the future...
