The other plate is Basil Angus beef. For dessert we ate the fried ice cream with a raspberry compote.
You might miss this place since it it blends in with the surrounding businesses, that being said, I truly enjoyed the Thai food here specially the Papaya salad and spicy Calamari. I've found the wait staff friendly and helpful each time I have visited. The food is fresh and the spices added delicious. Go ahead and give it a try but leave room for the fried ice cream.
I was the only one in the restaurant at a weird hour (not a typical lunch hour I think it was 3 or something like that). I'm always searching for exceptional Pad Thai when I'm in the city (since I visit so often), and I got a very generous portion! The Pad Thai was very good. A little too greasy for my standards, but who cares? This was in December (2012), and the hotter the temperature and more calories, the better! I was so full I had to take my leftovers to go and eat it later around dinner time. The woman helping me (possibly the manager) was very nice about letting me charge my phone in one of her outlets, and was very nice!
The food was excellent and the ambiance was surprisingly modern inside considering the small strip mall where Charm Thai Kitchen was located. We ordered Cream Cheese Wontons, Chicken Yellow Curry, Pad See Ew, and Mango Garlic Chicken. Every single dish was well prepared and flavorful. The Cream Cheese Wonton was a bit spicy rather than sweet, but still delicious. In fact everything was relatively spicier than other restaurants would set as their medium level. That wasn't a complaint, just something to be aware of. It was a little pricier than other Thai restaurants, but worth every penny.
Love the food here. You'll enjoy anything you order. I ate the Ginger Duck and white rice the other entrees was Basil Angus steak and we shared the tastiest calimari and salad EVER! HOPE YOU ENJOY IT AS WE DID.
