Spice Park Slope - Brooklyn

I've always enjoyed amazing food and drinks at this restaurant. However, my recent experience didn't meet my expectations regarding the ambiance. The space is quite small compared to the photos I've seen. The staff seemed to be very busy, running back and forth, which contributed to a somewhat loud atmosphere. Despite this, the overall value and the quality of the food were excellent.

I visited Spice on New Year's Eve. The food was good, but the service was just okay. It seemed like they could use a few more employees and some additional customer service training, as the staff appeared overwhelmed and not very friendly. Overall, I would rate it 3.5 stars.

Rating: Tons of stars! I eat here frequently and have been a loyal customer for many years. However, I do have a couple of concerns. I made a reservation for 8 o'clock this morning, but when we arrived, it seemed like they didn't acknowledge it, and we had to wait an hour for a table. The restaurant isn’t very large, so standing at the door in winter while people are trying to come in and out can be quite uncomfortable. Once we finally sat down, it took a bit of time to place our orders, and we had to ask for water for the table. The food here is always great, which I really appreciate. But on a busy Saturday evening, I believe they need to better manage their reservations and staff to improve the experience for everyone.

Waiter harassed me about a tip because I didn’t put in on my card, But I wanted to pay the tip in cash. They were very rude

It was amazing. Food and drinks. Definetly going back.
