Taj Mahal Indian - Brooklyn

Very unfortunate we used to love this restaurant. Food was not cooked! And they tell me to order again when they ?fix their oven? for free. i did call again after a week they would just put me on long holds. I requested a refund for my food which was$99 they would tell me the manager is not there. Or speak in a very unprofessional manner needless to say we will never orderfrom there again!

Wonderful experience. Food was so delicious and the server was very nice. They gave us a very nice pudding dessert as a treat to share. Best Indian restaurant so far. We plan to return. Thank you

Beautiful decor, servers were very attentive are glasses we?re never empty they continued to fill them which I loved! The chicken vindaloo was spicy but I loved it, we also got chicken tikka which was mild the chicken was tender and delicious. Garlicnaan was huge and can be split between two people! At the end of the meal they gave us rice pudding All in all we had a greatexperience will definitely be back!

I came here off and on for many years and visited now after a while away. It was one of the most terrible dinners I had in my life. Tough, rubbery shrimp vindaloo. Sickly sweet, watery chickpea dish. Dry and stringy butter chicken. The oil was separatingfrom the sauces in the dishes. Watery and limp cabbage. Watery, loose lentils with only a few lentils floating in a liquid.Tandoori chicken tasted off. I was able to eat some by putting the three sauces on that they give you when you arrive, but theholder for the three sauces was broken and almost tipping over. We waited a long time for the main courses and even longer forthem to clear the plates (we were there for almost 2 hours! . They did not give us the rice which we asked to take home. It wascold and drafty inside as each patron entered and sometimes left both doors open. I just hope I do not get food poisoningtonight! I will never go back again.

The interior features traditional Indian red decor, which might be a bit overwhelming for my taste, but it certainly adds to the cultural atmosphere. It feels cozy and inviting, as if everyone is well taken care of. My mom and I had a fantastic time there—the food was absolutely delicious! The service was wonderful as well. Thank you for a lovely experience. I highly recommend checking it out; it's a great place for dining!
