The Commissioner - Brooklyn

The tasting menu was a mixed experience for our group. It definitely provided an intriguing culinary journey, but I can’t honestly say that I enjoyed it more than other, much more affordable meals.

Brendan, the owner, is full of energy and enthusiasm. This restaurant was a fantastic discovery for someone visiting Brooklyn. It had the warm, welcoming atmosphere of a local spot where everyone knows each other, yet there’s a genuine excitement in meeting new faces. The tater tots are absolutely the highlight!

The restaurant offers outdoor patio seating, with affordable beer and food options! You can enjoy $6 queso and chips.

I visited this place on Halloween, and it had a relaxed vibe. They played only Taylor Swift music all night. The tater tots were fantastic, but the burger was just okay.

Fun spot. There was a street thing happening with music outside.
