Trad Room - Brooklyn

Overall, the staff was friendly and pleasant, except for the hostess. Perhaps she is new to the job, but she wasn't very welcoming, which is unfortunate since she is the first person guests encounter. If I hadn't been so hungry and eager to try this place, I might have walked away. I visited this week after a year, and I'm not sure if it was due to the bartender being on the phone, but he was quite rude and started to rush me. When I asked for recommendations, he seemed annoyed and gave me a rather underwhelming response. He even handed me my check before I finished my meal. To make matters worse, I ordered a medium-well burger and ended up with one that was very undercooked, which I discovered only when I got home. I think I’m done with this place.

Trad Room is one of my favorite restaurants in Brooklyn. It's been around for a while, and the menu strikes a perfect balance between keeping the longtime favorites and offering new dishes. The decor is tasteful and unpretentious, and you feel right at home for the whole experience. They currently offer a happy hour on weekdays until seven!

Good ish almost great Asian fusion food. Solid ramen and sushi. Tho some of the rolls are unexciting when you’re paying $13-14 for 4 pieces.

Amazing dinner! The specialty drinks, oysters and sushi were outstanding. The atmosphere was energetic and everything you could hope for, for a fun night out!
