Masa - Broomfield

Took a little long to get sat and then begin service. However, once our server was able to get to us she was on point. It was a packed house so it’s understandable that things were a little crazy. The food was good, service was good and the value was on par. Overall great experience l!

A surprising experience... I 've always wondered how come, for being in the southwest, Colorado has such mediocre Mexican food places. Not anymore. Masa is wonderful. It 's not exactly your abuela 's recipes it is updates of them with the same fresh ingredients, flavor, and care in preparation. I 'd be hard pressed to find fault with anything on the menu it 's all wonderful. Just a couple of nitpicks though, the chiles rellenos had wonderful flavor and texture but little spice. The tres leches cake could be a little more moist. But like I said, I 'm really nitpicking here. Staff at the Masa is wonderfully refreshing. Good service is hard to find these days and that 's because Masa is hoarding it all. Our service was attentive, helpful, and on top of things. The manager was pulling multiple duty hosting, checking in on guests, running food from the kitchen, and putting up with an obnoxious party of entitled, shallow, vapid, shrill, cackling hens, talking over everyone else in the restaurant trying to enjoy their dinner with such witty banter of you 're so pretty not I 'm not pretty, you 're so pretty . Ugh. The manager did this all with class and style and a smile on her face. That group eventually left but if anyone sees a review from approximately February of 2020 talking about how they had to leave because the manager was not treating them right ignore it because I was at ground zero for the experience and the staff did nothing wrong. That party of 12 14 should be ashamed of their behavior in public. Long and short of it run, don 't walk, to Masa. Be sure to check out their special tasting events. The Denver Restaurant week menu was a bargain too! Thanks Masa!

We love the menu selections at Masa but more we love the service we get--Hunter is particular is attentive, kind and professional. Their tacos are delicious!
