Golden Chippy - Broomhill

It 's not very often I rate food outlets as everyone has their own preferences, but Golden Chippy deserves a rating We use this chippy regularly for pizzas, kebabs, fish chips, cheesy chips, sausages, curry sauce ..you get the drift and it 's always a good size portion, reasonably priced for the area and always tastes great. I work all over the country and have eaten in many chippies over the years ‍ ..and even when I 've been to Whitby Lincoln to apparent award winning Chippies I 've been disappointed ‍ My wife and kids are always happy to have takeaway from this Chippy, which says it all in my book! Keep the family happy!! Remember Cash Only though, which isn 't a problem as there are cash machines in the Coop, and outside the Premier Shop just around the corner Just one last thing that annoys me! ..I 've heard the odd tourists moaning about the prices when I 've actually been in there. Some people are so rude! ...God knows where they come from, or what they are eating if they think these prices are high ‍ No dining-in, but you could just sit on the benches inside I suppose Takeaway and delivery are definitely available Parking: Parking out front in the lay-by, also in the Coop carpark and even around the back of the Chippy

Absolutely appalling. Curry sauce £1.50 for what is no more than a tablespoon full. Food saturated in grease...bah. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

On holiday in the area in November. Chips were very good. Fish was nice but the batter couldn’t of been better. Place was clean and staff were friendly too

Best pizzas around! Sometimes a little too well done on the base but still miles ahead of anyone else in the surrounding area.

So quick, delicious fish and chips . Pizza excellent too. Proper chicken in nuggets. Excellent find.
