El Mirador - Broto

We went to celebrate the anniversary of our couple, to make the night there and then enjoy the park of ordessa and the lost mountain, all a success this restaurant hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, the room with very fresh views to the mountain and the temperature of the room cool, super warm, what most impressed was the quality of the dinner menu, as soon as we saw the letter at the reception we decided to stay to dinner there and I doubted

21€ pp set menu was great value...choice of 4 starters, 4 mains, dessert, glass of wine and bottled water. Menu changed daily ..usually a fish and pork option. We ate here every night of our stay...great food and no worry about driving home after too much wine....recommended highly

Closed menu not very good and the plate for the kids very expensive to ask some precook potatoes and chicken.

At the outset, I must point out that we did not stay in the hotel, we just visited the restaurant. We chose the El Mirador whilst staying in Broto as we wanted to visit a restaurant that was a little more Spanish, it was allegedly only 600m from our hotel in the main village but I 'm thinking that was probably around 60% inaccurate! Anyhow, we found the restaurant and immediately had a language barrier to overcome and due to what I can only assume were colloquialisms on the menu, Google Translate was not much help. Luckily, with our very patient host, we managed to work out a rough approximation of each dish and made our orders. The food was fantastic and in abundance, salads and grills were flavourful, well prepared and presented and despite the language barrier we were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed the company and service from the staff. Due to the amount of food we consumed, we were rather glad of the walk back to the hotel. A great experience and a lovely location, I 'd be tempted to stay in the hotel on my next visit too.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights an excellent place to start with. Then in the evening we decided to try out the restaurant. We normally do not have our meals where we stay as we like to try other places in the area. But El Mirador was a clear exception and a winner . We ended up having all our meals at this place. For starter, the breakfast is excellent and of good quality. You can prepare your own coffee and have a reasonable variety of breakfast items to choose from. But the big price and surprise was the dinner menu. Many dishes to choose from. A combination of gourmet cooking and local dishes. Antonio, the chef, does a great job. Dishes very well presented and of excellent quality. We enjoyed each and every one of them. Our congratulations to Antonio, a very pleasant man.. The service also excellent and the dinning room very correct with great view of the valley below. A place not to be missed.Congratulations
