The menu offers typical comfort food like fried dishes and pizza, but it is only available for takeout. The area around the restaurant is not very attractive.
I have visited this café many times in the past, and on Monday for lunch, I was surprised to learn that the restaurant is up for sale. I ordered a plain hamburger with BBQ sauce, calamari rings, and a strawberry milkshake. Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the food.
We stopped here to grab a quick lunch on our way to the beach. We ordered a large chips and a piece of crumbed fish. After waiting just over an hour we finally received our order. The chips were over cooked and disgusting and the crumbed fish was a piece of uncooked fish that looked like it had been brought from the coles frozen section. We would strongly advise going elsewhere for your fish and chips. We will never be returning to this place!
With not many places to choose from you are limited with places to eat so you come here. Located near north beach and next to surf shop it has pizzas,, fried old, hamburgers etc.The food is ok , nothing to rave about. Pizza prices are a bit steep but it's got the monopoly. Chips were very average, came out soggy so depends on how hungry you are. Hamburgers were ok too.
This little café is adorable. My husband had a coffee and found it enjoyable. "It hit the spot." On another visit last year we had the seafood basket, there is enough to fill 2 people and more. The fish cocktails are divine. The service is very friendly and waiting time is what you expect for a busy tourist area. We will be revisiting next time we are down the south coast
