El Charrito - Brownsville

Food wise: Just a regular Mexican restaurant-recently remodeled and very clean.

The service was great and the restrooms very clean. The food was ok. Need to lay off the garlic though. It destroys the taste of the food. The said was good. I had the charrito plate. The Chile relleno with cheese Was hot and tasted good. The Americanenchiladas had to much garlic and looked like it was tossed together and sauce put on i,. Did not taste good. The tostada wasok. I feel because we got there 20 minutes before closing time, they didn't care about the quality of food.

The food was ok and the staff wass very attentive. The prices were a.little high. We paid over 28$ for two breakfasts. That is a little high for our area. Yesterday at another place we paid 12$.

Marlen was an Excellent and Friendly Waiteres! The Enchilada Plates, both with Cheese or Chicken, were Fantastic and Tasty! Service was Exceptional!

Overall experience was good. Hadn?t been here in a long time. The Carne Guisada was good but wasn?t as warm as I?d like by the time it made it to our table. Adding Natural Lemonade to the selection of drinks would also be a great plus. I?ll be back.
