Gazpachos Restaurant Bar - Brownsville

I love the salads. Fish tacos and soups are delicious

I came in from out of town on a work assignment and stumbled across this place. What a lucky find! The food was incredible and the prices were incredibly reasonable. I would’ve had to have paid at least double for food of this quality back home in Florida. The service was good, but I had to give just four stars because they only had two servers working the entire bar/restaurant and they were so busy there wasn’t time for them to be as attentive as we would’ve preferred. But that didn’t take away from our satisfaction. I was a bit surprised to find that gazpacho soup wasn’t on their menu.

This eatery is easy to find. We celebrated my nephew’s birthday there. Our waiter was great. We were a table of 8 and they seated us in a very awkward spot. I kept feeling people’s rears as they walked past to and from the bathroom etc.

Service was very badly slow. Slow to take orders, slow to bring the meals, slow to bring checks and take payments. .Cheeseburger was very basic, ordinary.

Coffee is fresh, portions are generous. Delicious and served hot. 5/5 stars
