I went to the bar numerous times to try and get service. Ordered food, she didn’t bother to see if I needed silverware or ketchup, so I did without. I can’t believe the owners allow their bartender to have a “I don’t care” attitude. Was hoping this would be a new go-to spot for my friends and I. Nope, not going back to a place that doesn’t care about customers unless you’re a “regular” already.
We ordered the prime rib medium rare and the Shepherd’s Pie and shared like we usually do. Both were excellent. The prime rib was properly prepared and was medium rare. The seasoning added to the flavor of the meat without overwhelming it. The lamb in the shepherds pie was tender, juicy, truly had the lamb flavors and seasoning perfectly balanced. We will be back.
Great value and beautiful atmosphere. Enjoyed the corn chowder and roast beef sub with au jus. (Traducido por Google) Gran valor y hermoso ambiente. Disfruté de la sopa de maíz y el rosbif con au jus.
Amazing restored mansion. Elegant Dining Room. Empty on a Thursday evening but we thoroughly enjoyed upscale menu in Carpetbaggers Tavern in the brick walled basement. Friendly staff and locals. A real treat.
