I had a great experience at this restaurant. The staff was always friendly and helpful. I called in a takeaway order for the Special Curry with Chips and thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food.

I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food at this restaurant. The portion sizes were generous and everything was served promptly. I highly recommend trying the Singapore fried rice. I will definitely be ordering from here again.

I went to this Chinese and ordered £38 worth of food including won ton and it was literally deep fried filo pastry with no filling. I called and politely asked for a refund for this dish and was happy to bring it back to show them my issue. The lady was extremely rude saying that it was filled with chicken and I didn't need to bring the dish back because she works there so knows what it is. I had paid £4 for a few pieces of oily pastry so insisted that a refund would be the appropriate solution. The lady flat out refused but said I could have discount for next time. When I continued to ask for a refund, she hung up on me. I then drove back to the take away, the lady left £4 on the desk and then walked in to the back of the kitchen. I was given no apology and was made to feel I had done something wrong. Considering the times we are in, you would think that people would be kinder to each other. We had been there before and we would probably have gone there again as the rest of the food was decent but we have now been completely put off by the service and dreadful staff.

I was really looking forward to getting Chinese takeout, but unfortunately, the dishes we ordered were all very bland. The Roast Duck with orange sauce had more batter than duck, and the Sweet and Sour Pork was overly battered with tough pork pieces. The Beef Chow Mein was decent, but it cooled down quickly. The Mushroom Foo Yong had large, undercooked mushrooms with hardly any egg. The Fried Rice was okay. Overall, I was disappointed with the food and ended up throwing out the leftovers. On top of that, they only accepted cash, which was inconvenient. It makes you wonder.

I ordered a meal yesterday from Hong Kong House via Just Eat and really enjoyed it. First time I have had a takeaway from here and was really impressed with quality, portions and service. I only ordered a Lemon Chicken and a Special Chow Mein, but the amount of chicken in the Lemon Chicken was excellent and the Special Chow Mein was full of different meats/prawns... both really tasty. Arrived on time and nice and hot. Certainly recommend and will order from here again, especially as the delivery charge was only £1.
