I ordered a meal through ‘just eat’ last week and got to say what a poor experience I had. I ordered the food to arrive at 7:15, had a message at 6:35 to say it was out for delivery.... by 7:30 it hadn’t arrived so phoned the takeaway up to ideally cancel my order as it seemed it had been ‘out for delivery’ for nearly an hour so presumed it would be cold! However I was assured that it wouldn’t be cold and would expect it anytime. (the takeaway is only 5 minutes away) The food arrived at 7:35 so 20 minutes late!! The food wasn’t even warm and the naan bread was soggy so ended up putting the main dishes in the microwave to heat up and the naan bread under the grill. Once it was all reheated, the food quality wasn’t really the best either... quite bland in taste. Let’s just say that I won’t be ordering a takeaway here again... wish I just bought a curry from Tesco... much cheaper and better quality.
This has been our regular take away Indian restaurant for several years but sadly we won’t be using it any more. The delivery is a joke! We ordered at 7.25pm and when our meal still hadn’t arrived 1 hour and 20 mins later, called to ask what was going on. They said it would be another 15 mins as the roadworks (at 9pm! we’re slowing them down. We live no more than a mile away! Such a pity but we will be finding somewhere else to get take aways from in future.
Sadly, this is the last time we will be using Spicy Nights. We love your food but your delivery service is terrible. This is the second time it has taken nearly an hour and a half to get to us and we’re only 2 miles away. :
Tried for the first time and it definitely won't be the last. Both our meals were of top quality and the meat used was of a top quality. Loved it... cheers
