Lekker buffet restaurant met voldoende afwisseling. vooral de afrikaans ginte gerchten/stoofpotjes en u stant grill. let wel : veel iets specialere en/of afrikaans getinte justen wat wij alvast top vonden. prijs ok.

Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante durante la nostra permanenza al Matamba, io amo qualsiasi tipo di cucina e anche quì ho mangiato davvero bene, si possono assaggiare diversi piatti della cucina africana, se non siete amanti di questa cucina e meglio che girate alla larga perchè rischiate di non mangiare nulla, per tutti gli altri invece il buffet costa 28€ a persona bevande escluse, vi conviene prenotare per avere la sicurezza di avere il tavolo.

Varied buffet, with very original flavors, the dishes are well presented and the whole is always clean. With regard to the restaurant, it is well arranged, we remain in the same spirit as the ultra-thematized hotel, the fact that most tables are in small "boxes" makes the very warm, friendly and intimate at the same time. servers and waitresses are polite and courteous. However pay attention to the price, 28€ without the drinks that are very expensive one must admit! But, well, we had a great time, to do once during a stay in phantasialand.

We were here for the second time and again very enthusiastic. the chef told us very kindly the preparation of some food and also the rest of the staff was very friendly. the foods were fresh, the nice crunchy and varied.We visited the restaurant with our 3 year old daughter. what we found especially great was the possibility of child care during eating. for smaller children, there will be a bowling pool, climbing area, children's cinema and painting offerings, which are supervised by educational institutions. so mama and papa can also enjoy something in peace the atmosphere. also there is a great children's buffet. Conclusion: we will come back in every case soon ☺

We are once a year in the hotel Matamba/Phanasialand and therefore also in the zambesi. in the last three years, however, the zambesi has become significantly worse. In principle, it is necessary to expect this to be a three-year-old table without leaving a plastic cup on the table.The real problem in the zambesi is, however, the increasingly poorer quality of the feeds. the meat at the grill is throughout and over years of inferior quality. rind is zb on minutesteak quality from the discounter. much too thin and much worse, the cook at the grill constantly press on the meat to shorten the cooking time. so at least all the cooks at the grill on my demand have explained to me the pressure. because every piece of meat is always dry and tough, who likes to eat medium must say rare. this does not make the consistently bad meat quality better, however. this is unkind.Really disastrous, but what happens on the salatbuffet. in the late evening, there is scarlet, which is clearly blown out and already shimmers rainbow colors. I put a slice tomate of salatbuffet under the salmon and the next morning at the breakfast buffet lay the tomaten was always under the same, arg bordering salmon. that is not possible and was still in the zambesi years ago, which I like the matambda still very much. the 'African brotsalat' is nothing but old brot with oil and tomate. who likes it, ok.ver Compared with African buffets in hamburg and berlin, the zambesi is unfortunately lacking from the quality of the feeds and only because of that it is significantly too expensive.The atmosphere suffers also among them the from 2100 clock side tables that have become empty are already covered for the breakfast. no big thing, but for a 28Euro per person buffet which costs well 40 euro per head with drinks, this is all simply bad.DREI stars I still give because I am a big phantasialandfan, the hotel matamba love and at least to breakfast very much like going to zambesi.But at the end we only go into the much more expensive but also quite much better restaurant bantuinen. 40 euro per person for the low kulinaric and gastronomic level.
