It's a nice little coffe breakfast place, but a bit expensive in our opinion. We had a very good tartine the fresh bread was amazing : There were a few things that could have been better: the eggs weren't delivered yet cause it was to early ~9:30 , there was an extra 2 eur tax we didn't figure out for what yet, you can pay only cash : It was only one person serving I think the owner so the waiting time is a bit longer even if she struggling to plese everyone. The home made brownie was very tasty also :
Good food and initially friendly service. But the place is cash only (unacceptable in 2019) and there's no sign Informing it. We did not ordered any warm dishes and the place was not full yet it took quite awhile to receive it.
Nearly a year ago, I posted about @thepotatobar.be. A nice place where you can grab the best fries in town. I also said Bruges would be a more lovely place if there would pop up more places like this one. And I feel like that's happening. Spend last Sunday afternoon at @margritt.brugge. It's actually the first time the girlfriend and I went in to have a drink, which is quite a shame since we've heard a lot of people talking positive about this place. I enjoyed sitting down at the window, and looking at people passing by. This is the place where you can find the kind of atmosphere you feel when watching a cozy family movie. Friendly staff, great coffee. I see myself going back and just spending my whole afternoon with a good book over!
Really nice coffee and local desserts. The barista was friendly and energetic but didn’t wear her mask properly or bother to scan our EU COVID passes. She speaks Flemish, French and a bit of English but the service was a little slow. Also, a little pricy for what you get.
