Good Southern country cooking at a reasonable price.

I grabbed Yelp to look for a local place and found Ruthie's. Only a block off hwy 231. I'm always up for trying new, local places. And, was not disappointed. Very good home cooking. Very good service. Can't wait to try it again.

It was our first time there. I didnt like that someone had to fix my plate. And you couldnt go back for a 2nd plate. we left hungry. wont go back

We had a wonderful lunch with our family at Ruthies. They fill your plates up generously from a buffet line with good choices of ribs, fried or backed chicken and vegetables. Great service with a smile. Eating here is like eating at mama’s or your grandma’s house. Real good cooking.

Reminded me of being at my Granny’s house! No “atmosphere” can top that. Lovely place and the people were awesome. Food was phenomenal!
