Brunskogs Hembygdsfoerening

We visited this restaurant during the Gambelvala festival. There were numerous activities, crafts, and art to enjoy, including old machinery, tractors, and wood saws. They served typical local food and drinks, such as juniper juice, and showcased traditional methods like coal burning, tar making, and chalk threshing. There was even an opportunity to take a cruise on an old ship. The atmosphere was cozy, and they offered delicious cakes and coffee. Additional parking was available for residential properties during the event, and there was an entrance fee.

Step back in time and experience how people lived, dressed, and worked in the past at this restaurant. I highly recommend trying the traditional näwgröt med fläsk and be sure to ask for extra fat.
