The last time I visited, the food service was great! I don't think I had better pancakes somewhere else! I love the place. I always find great offers and cool gifts! They also wear the brand of essential oils I buy online! ...love the local atmosphere. I wonder who the people are in the pictures that decorated the walls of the restaurant. Curiose.
Delicious and affordable food and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff and our waitress were friendly, polite and welcoming. I love how they have a mini comfortable storage while you are in the resturant that carries a number of souvenirs, garments, candy, gifts and delicious treats. I was just for breakfast, but I would highly recommend going!
Waiting to sit until 20 minutes, no one in the line and all the staff who came out of the kitchen looked the line back and did not help, Hostess, when finally appeared was very rude, our server was extremely rude and never back to check on our meal. What the worst thing I ever had was nothing hot. I had to pick up our check to pay. Cashier Ariel was very polite and apologetic. Was my favorite restaurant, but don't know if I'll ever go back.
Since it was the weekend we expected to have to wait for a table. However, the experience was less than professional. Upon walking in, the greeter stationed at the front door was on her personal phone yelling at someone to hurry up and come get her. While waiting there were several parties that didn't understand that they would be getting a text when their table was ready and walked up the hostess desk and thus were seated before others who had been waiting making our wait longer as a reward for following the procedure. We still aren't sure why the wait for a table was so long since over half the restaurant was empty and it was well past lunchtime. Once seated and meals ordered we waited approximately 45 minutes for food which was mediocre at best and that's being generous. We had to ask several times for bread. One of us had all the sides lumped together with chicken and dumplings drowning everything else. We left quite disappointed and will look for other options when in the area. The other Cracker Barrel in Arlington, TX is a much better experience.
