Often when going to a Authentic Mexican restaurant you get stuck with mostly spicy foods, but not a El Rodeo. They have plenty on the the spicy side, while still having lots of options for those who can?t eat spicy foods. Prices vary but there?s options for every patrons budget, staff a really friendly and eager to assist. Portion sizes in comparison to the price is generously large, definitely a good bang for the buck. Now with us being in the mist of a Pandemic, hygiene is on a lot of our minds. As the saying goes if you want to know wether hygiene is a priority at an establishment check the restrooms. El Rodeo restrooms are spotless, the restaurant feels roomie and is kept clean. Definitely one of my first pick more often than not when eating out. I do wish the had delivery available.
A good place to eat. come and enjoy a good meal, the best food ???? in the world ???? world. excellent service ????, first class staff, very good variety of drinks, ???? ???? ????,????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
My fajitas were tiny little giblets of chicken, not large succulent pieces, like i was given the bottom dregs of a marinade bag. They were brought out to me luke warm which is funny since the menu read sizzling fajitas . Thus, i cannot give el rodeo five stars. The ambience was warm and inviting, the decorations vibrant and bright, and the staff was freindly and attentive. My party all did build your own burritos and enjoyed their food, salvaging their poor showing on my fajitas. I would return to give them a second chance.
We love Mexican food and the prospect of finding food with any flavor in Maine is not good, but this place delivered! Not the level of spiciness we are used to, but very good blends of flavors and great presentation. From the salsa and chips to each entree we enjoyed every bite. Our son got a beef burrito that was huge. He has a good-sized appetite and brought about 1/3 of it home and happily had it for a snack the next day. I got 2 chicken enchiladas. They were on the small side, but full of flavor and I don't think I could have eaten any more. I can't remember what hubby got but I do remember him saying it was very good and he, too, was comfortably full. The staff was attentive and seemed happy to serve, but there was a language barrier. We got around it just fine.
Worst nachos we’ve ever had. They were drenched in liquid. No jalapeños no salsa, no sour cream no guacamole I ordered fish tacos and could not find any fish and there was at least a tablespoon of onions on the taco. My husband ordered a beef and bean burrito and it was so soggy and had no flavor also said his margarita had no flavor. I did like my Paloma.
