Life in Maryland and with the selection of several good Thai restaurants from which to choose, it was a real pleasure to discover the Thai paradise here in Brunswick. My wife and I have our favorite dishes that we tend to repeat when we return to the same Thai restaurant back home. Imagine our surprise when Jack, the owner and boss of Thai Paradise, produced several of these dishes for us and created a meal to remember. Here's a little secret you might find interesting. Thai Paradise is normally closed on Mondays, but Jack said if we had a party of five or more, he would only open his restaurant for us. It was really cool as we mentioned to Jack certain court that we did not see on the menu during an earlier visit and Jack just said what we liked and he would cook it for us. I'm glad to say that Jack came through with flying colors. That evening, one of the best culinary experiences my wife and family ever had in the world. Yeah, that was the GOOD! If you are in the area not miss Thai Paradise . The fresh flowers in the restaurant and generally casual atmosphere mix all to a feeling super comfortable and relaxed. If you make it Thai Paradise, ask Jack if he has a whole crispy fish. It's not on the menus, but it's mouthwater good. Finally, see if you can snore a mango sticky rice, it is a good way to finish a meal. We had a beautiful Argentinean Sav Blanc to wash the freshest food in Brunswick. You will not be disappointed with your own Thai paradise experience. Adam H. Maryland P.S. I want to try the Mango Lobster at the next visit.
Authentic Thai Food!. The restaurant is located in an old converted house. Wooden floors, colorful table settings. The food was great. I enjoyed the basil with green/red peppers, onions, cashews and shrimps. 4 stars were just the right spices for me. It can be too hot for others. Would recommend and will return. Price was about $25 per person.
The Thai paradise is no longer. New owners are here almost a year. Prices are more reasonable and food is better. The new name is Sweet Angel. Yes I have eaten there many times as I have Uncle Tom's market next door. 06/07/13
