Attended for dinner with a group of work colleagues (around 12 people). We ordered the smaller of tasting menus offered with restrictions for 1 x gluten free and 2 vegetarian guests. The special meal requests were accepted graciously, no issues at all. I can't be sure of the vegetarian meals as they were at the opposite end of our table, but everyone enjoyed the friendly service, delicious meals and atmosphere. Tangy and fresh guacamole came quickly, followed by very tasted corn cobs with coriander/cheese sauce. 3 types of tacos (fish, pork and cauliflower) came next, all nicely presented and very tasty. Churros with ice cream and chocolate sauce finished our meal beautifully, with tea and coffee offered. There is a good wine/cocktails/beers/spirits menu, also plenty of alcohol free drinks. The decor is warm, colourful and a very welcoming restaurant overall. The staff were cheerful, professional and well timed service. Good value at $35/head for our tasting menu, plus drinks. Really enjoyed Lady Carolina and will definitely return. Thank you for a lovely evening.
The food was delicious, especially the retried black beans, although I felt the corn chips were a little hard. Would have enjoyed them more if they were a little crispier. Friendly service And although a bit noisy was still a good atmosphere
Atmosphere and delicious food. The staff is friendly and the service is great. I highly recommend trying their signature dish, it was amazing. The drinks were also fantastic. Overall, a great dining experience.
What not to like, huge eatery, tastefully converted from a period building, vibrant, cool, everyone seems to be having a great time, it makes you feel younger and the kitchen looks busy pumping those delicious looking food.Comprehensive "Latin" influenced food on the Menu .... which most of us or just me can't even pronounce it properly, sounds exotic ..... little alone knowing the meaning of it. Which was later found to be a confusing issue for our group trying to split and sort out the bill.My crispy cauliflower soft taco $6 was a great start to evening, done well, if only my glass of Rothschild Sauvignon Blanc turned up prior or at least at the same time as my food - first world issue. Getting some water top-up seems to be an issue too.Not too worry, my $28 medium rare Argentinian Skirt Steak was served, very well cooked as ordered, attractively presented with a single grilled Chilli and Spring Onion on top and Chimichurri sauce, this time Malbec came on time. Chimichurri sauce could have a bit more bang ..... was on the safe "bland" side.Slow service is probably due to a lack of staff on the floor or just bad operation, it didn't help when wrong orders were delivered or undelivered.Overall, enjoyable, good food, well priced and tasty too, thank you.
