While I expected better dishes and wine, the appetizers, dessert, and other delicacies were outstanding. Best wishes. Food: 3.

My visit to Au Comme Chez Soi restaurant in Brussels was an exceptional culinary experience. I was lucky enough to be invited to celebrate the end of the year and it was a dream come true. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the art deco establishment. I was led to the basement, where a large, beautifully set table awaited us in the middle of the wine cellar. It was the perfect place for our small group of 8, allowing us to enjoy some privacy. The dishes and wines followed one another in a harmonious manner, creating an unforgettable taste experience. Each dish was prepared with remarkable attention to detail, and the wines were perfectly matched. The friendly atmosphere was enhanced by the main course, which was served in the middle of the table, promoting the spirit of “Like at home”. At the end of the meal, we had the chance to meet Chef Rigolet and take a little tour of the entrance to the kitchen and the restaurant room. It was a unique experience to be able to see behind the scenes of this renowned establishment. I left the Au Comme Chez Soi restaurant with wonderful memories and great admiration for the quality of the cuisine and service.
Remarkable quality of food and service. Try the cod with the Riesling mousseline. A wonder Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €90–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Of course the house remains one of the most beautiful testimonies of the glorious Art Deco/Art Nouveau period of Brussels. Of course the service is perfect, smiling, professional, respectful without obsequiousness, under the firm but always elegant leadership of Madame RIGOLET. But let's not forget that this house is not just a temple of tradition. It is also a table that perfectly combines the constantly renewed joy of historical dishes with an interesting touch of innovative impertinence. No offense to the old red guide whose love of technicality at all costs seems to make us forget the true pleasure of the table, an evening in this beautiful house guarantees radiant memories that will last for a long time Sublime and affordable wine list Valet.
